. . . a very NON-traditional Christmas with the Crafty Gals Corner

It's time for another challenge with us at the

This week we are letting our creative juices flow with
Challenge #150 - To Die For

The sponsors for this challenge are:
Scrap N Dipity
Prize: 3 Digital Images

SheepSki Designs
Prize: 3 Digital Images

~~~*~~~*~~~
Today I have used the Skully Christmas digital stamp from SheepSki Designs, one of our generous sponsors this week, to make a very non-traditional Christmas card.
I placed the digital stamp on my Silhouette Cameo design mat and sized it to fit into the scalloped square frame then printed it on X-Press It blending card, heat set then coloured with Copic markers.
I cut the scalloped frame using my Silhouette Cameo and trimmed the image panel down to fit and adhered them to the card base.  I die cut a bundle of spruce stems, dimensional bow and sentiment in black cardstock and adhered them in place to make my skull ornament a little more festive.
I hope you have enjoyed my non-traditional Christmas card
  10. Your card makes me think of "A Christmas Carol" Tracy, as in the novel by Dickens. I think it's a combination of the skull and the almost burned down candle on his hat. I really like the beautiful black bow and the die cut foliage, they are perfect additions for the image. You did a great job colouring the skull, the eyes look deep and cavernous. Well done!
    Cheers,
